Fill in the commission form below with your contact details, tell me all about your pet, and choose your preferences: frame colour, special features, and more.
Provide several clear, high-resolution photos of your pet from different angles. Close-ups of the face and eyes, a full-body shot, and any photos that show their personality.
Select your preferred frame colour and let me know if you would like your pet's own fur incorporated into the portrait, a beautiful way to keep them close.
Once I receive your enquiry, I'll review your photos and contact you to confirm the details. Then I'll begin crafting your one-of-a-kind portrait in the Willowood studio.

"Nestled not far from Middle Earth NZ — where wool, wire, and imagination become treasured pieces."Herbi, Founder of Willowood Workshop
Creativity has always been at the heart of Willowood Workshop. From the age of four, Herbi was designing and sewing, gifted fabrics and patterns by two imaginative grandmothers and an artist mother who nurtured her love of making.
In 2023, this lifelong passion evolved into collectible art dolls and detailed pet portraits, bringing together technical skill, imagination, and emotional storytelling in every single piece.
This is Frankie. Her mum used to walk past my work frequently, one of those familiar faces you come to recognise in a small community.
One day she went past and was upset. It turned out Frankie was going on one of her last walks. She was old, deaf, and had a collapsing throat. I offered to make a portrait of Frankie and showed her photos of my work.
She gave me some of Frankie's fur, which was carefully incorporated into her replica, a small piece of her woven into something that would last.
"The portrait of our dog captured everything about him — his warmth, his cheekiness, his whole spirit. We couldn't believe how alive it felt. We will treasure it forever."
